The Legend

The Giant Frog was formed by the creation god, Glooskap, who later had to shrink him down to standard frog size after the beast held the freshly created human tribe’s water supply hostage. Originally, the frog was the size of a mountain, with a mile long mouth and yellow-black eyes. Glooskap emptied the giant frog of all of the water he was hogging and wrang him dry until he was indistinguishable from the small wrinkly frogs that we know today.
When the creation god, Glooskap, formed the frog, he originally made him to be the size of a mountain, with a mile long mouth and a rude temperment. The giant frog planted himself on top of the freshly created human tribe’s only water supply, causing the river to slow to a trickle and the people to face extreme thirst. Glooskap asked the giant frog to move, so that the river might flow again but the frog greedily refused. The creation god responded to this insubordinance by wringing the frog dry until he was indistinguishable from the small wrinkly frogs that we know today.

Physical Description

A gigantic rude toad, and then, thanks to Glooskap, a very standard size smallish toad.
